Stephen Hancox - Managing Director
Managing Director, also being instrumental in making the company what it is today, never one for shying away from a challenge and confident that by working with my fellow board of directors and our dedicated work force, the team will keep GOLIATH at the top of the game. Phil Wakelin - Operations Director
Joined the company in 1988. Became Operations Director in 2001. Gets involved in most things technical. Aim is to protect and enhance the company's first class reputation built up over many years. Married with 2 grown-up children. Enjoys music (listening not playing!) and sport (watching not playing!). Recently discovered Gardening!
Mark Turner - Technical Administrator
I have been with company since 1987 in that time covering a wide
range of roles; I currently look after Production and all Technical/Administrative
related tasks.
I enjoy keeping fit and Coaching Junior Football, known to bike
ride to work and also been known to enjoy the odd Jaffer Cake!!

Barry Jones - Installations & Contracts Manager
I've been in the Double Glazing Industry for 28 years in various
roles. The last 9 years have been as Installations Manager/Surveyer
for Goliath, always gaining new experiences due to Goliaths continued
expansion, including computer skills (though some may laugh).
Happily married for 34 years with 2 children and now a proud Grandfather
for the first time.
Sylvia Jones - Secretary to Managing Director
I joined Goliath in March 1997, as a part-time Receptionist/Telephonist.
Within 2 years I moved to a full-time position dealing with customer
services and administration duties.
Today my position within the company is Sales Executive for the
cane furniture department and Secretary to Mr Stephen Hancox, Managing
Director.
I also make exceptionally good lunches ask the MD!!!
Jason Clay - Kitchens & Bedroom Design Sales Consultant
As one of the longest-serving members of the Goliath team, starting in 1989, I offer a wealth of product knowledge to help you achieve the kitchen or bedroom of your dreams. Hobbies include travelling across Europe visiting important World War II sites; well, it helps to counter the excitement of the job!
Mark Nasser - Window Design Sales Consultant
I have been employed by Goliath for the past 18 years; a very keen
member of the team.
I enjoy socialising the occasional drink, cigar, and a game of golf.

Sarah Hancox - Sales & Admin
I have worked for Goliath Homeworld for 10 years, taking a short break to be a dental nurse and to give birth to the managing director’s grandson Joshua, as you can see the connection!!!
Over the years here I have been the company’s receptionist and also looked after the company Aftersales, Today I am the Company Sales Administrator for the Kitchen, Bedroom & Bathroom side of the company. Goliath is very much a family concern where team work is paramount.
I am the good looking blonde girl thankfully it’s out of a bottle!
Jackie & Nathalie - Accounts Department
We believe in keeping the finance function in the family. We are both related to the directors, Jackie is married to Phil and Nathalie is Steve’s niece. Between us we have 30 years experience at Goliath.
Nathalie is our full time accounts assistant and looks after most things. Jackie works part time and looks after the sales side of things along with wages & personnel.
Dave Nevell – Installation & Sales of Kitchens, Bedrooms & Bathrooms
I joined Goliath back in September 1997 following the sad death of Lady Diana Spencer. It may sound like a long time but I can honestly say that the last 14 years have flown by.
I started as part of the installation team but have been working with the sales / admin team for the last four years. I still occasionally dust my tools off if needs must.
Installation Team
Don't be fooled by appearances! These are the guys at the sharp end. Our fitting teams provide a professional and courteous service to our customers and clients and are a vital part of the company. They are one of the many reasons why Goliath have been able to maintain a reputation for high standards of quality and service.
